No, using this platform is completely free, and the core functionality will always remain free. While a Pro version with additional features might be introduced in the future, the essential tools for tracking and sharing your reading lists will never come with a price tag.
This project is a heartfelt project by Martin. If you enjoy using it, consider sharing it with friends or promoting your collections on social media to help spread the word.

Your name is displayed with your shared collections to identify you as the creator. You can use your personal name, an artist or creator nickname, or even a company or brand name.
The Instagram handle is your Instagram username (e.g., @readinglist.pro) that will be linked to your Public Name in shared or public collections. When someone clicks on your Public Name, they will be redirected to your Instagram profile. If no Instagram handle is provided, the Public Name will not contain a link.
A collection name is the title you assign to your collection. It helps you and others identify the purpose or theme of the collection. For example, you might name a collection Summer Reads or Science Fiction Favorites. You can update the name anytime in the collection settings.
A collection description is a short summary that explains the theme or focus of your collection. It appears in shared lists so others can quickly see what makes your collection unique.
A smart collection is automatically created and updated based on labels and ratings, while a manual collection requires you to select and manage the books yourself.
You can add labels to books, and smart collections automatically include any book that has at least one of the selected labels. Multiple labels can be assigned to a smart collection.
Books shown in smart collections are selected based on meeting a minimum rating threshold.
Books in reading lists are sorted chronologically by their reading date. Books in collections can be reordered manually using drag and drop.
If you delete a collection, all associated data, including reviews, ratings, and the collection itself, will be permanently removed. This action cannot be undone.
To add a book to a collection, search for it using the search bar. Once you find the book, click on the result and select the option to add it to an existing collection. Reviews and ratings can be added to collections, while the reading date can only be assigned when adding the book to My Finished Books.
You can add custom books by searching for a book by title or author using the search bar. If you don’t find a matching result, click on the Add missing book button to add the book manually. Once the book is added to your collection, you can include it in any list.
Custom books you add will not appear in search results for other users. However, if you include them in your public lists or collections, they will be displayed there.
The Date Finished refers to the specific day you completed reading a book. This helps you track your reading history and build your personal timeline of finished books.
Unlike many other platforms, you can mark the same book as finished multiple times. If you re-read a book, you can record each completion date separately, ensuring that every reading experience is reflected in your timeline.
When you remove a book from a collection, all associated details like reviews, ratings, and reading dates will also be removed from that collection. However, the book itself will still be available for other collections or reading lists.
Accounts are never public. Only individual, shared collections can be public. By default, all collections are shareable via a link that only you can see, keeping your data private unless you choose to share it.
You can choose between three privacy options for your collections:
You can change the privacy settings for any collection in the collection settings:
When a collection is set to Public, it becomes visible to everyone. It may appear on the homepage, in search results within the platform, or be indexed by search engines like Google.
You can control whether your reviews and ratings are visible in public and shared collections. To change this:
